With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Jānis Pavelskops was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Inigo Alfaro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the UTC FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inigo Alfaro couldn't finish the play. Levi Ackerman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense.
