In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Candido Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Candido Hendrickx struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilar FC. Candido Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Pilar FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Candido Hendrickx took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Hugo Villaverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Joshua Garrido in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pilar FC's Cristian Jenaro. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 45th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. Joshua Garrido hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Sixto Luke successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 55 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's Candido Hendrickx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pilar FC's Nicanor Illan was substituted for Candido Hendrickx. Joshua Garrido made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pilar FC's Isaac Tristan. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Nicanor Illan put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Illan in the 76th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. 86 minutes into the game, Guus Koole cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Illan in the 90th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Illan in the 93rd minute of play. Pilar FC's Godofredo Lano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pilar FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
