Farhan Seng's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Farhan Seng helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farhan Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Leguizamo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afiz Teo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marco Tamayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afiz Teo was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 12 minutes in the game, Jerry Wah fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Redbourn AFC's Danish Phua quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Magrina, made in the 17th minute of the game. If Danish Phua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Jithu Hee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Redbourn AFC's Jerry Wah managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mateo Leguizamo in the 27 minute of the game. In the 29th minute of the game Jorge Magrina made a throw-in which Jesus Carvallo played forward. Abram Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Afiz Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Soon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Jithu Hee could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Ricardo Zorita however easily saved by the left post. El Salvador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jithu Hee 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Farhan Seng was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Luis Rubio got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mateo Leguizamo. Redbourn AFC made a substitution. Hidayat Peng replaced Bineesh Chee. Didi Teo hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Hidayat Peng made the kick off in the second half. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Afiz Teo came out and tried to block the shot, but Moises Fernandino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 53rd minute. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Jorge Magrina with Abram Luque as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Afiz Teo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hidayat Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Danish Phua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Mateo Leguizamo made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Redbourn AFC's Jithu Hee. Jonathan Soon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. Redbourn AFC's Hidayat Peng got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jithu Hee fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redbourn AFC's protests and gave Jithu Hee a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jithu Hee hit a great ball. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Hidayat Peng struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redbourn AFC. Danish Phua kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Hidayat Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great ball. Redbourn AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
