If Dabi Vila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Los once leones Ourense's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dabi Vila, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Dabi Vila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the game, Los once leones Ourense's Dabi Vila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Cacheres in the 15th minute of the match. Ponc Caballero got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dabi Vila. Albano Unzueta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo-Enrique Alabern got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Albano Unzueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones Ourense's Nereo Cacheres. But to his dismay, Nereo Cacheres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With an all-out effort, Los once leones Ourense's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nereo Cacheres, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ponc Caballero got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sebastián Paz. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Cacheres, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Albano Unzueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Unzueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los once leones Ourense's Ponc Caballero got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Los once leones Ourense defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Unzueta. The Los once leones Ourense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Unzueta should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nereo Cacheres made the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Dabi Vila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los once leones Ourense and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 66th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Albano Unzueta in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Axel Montenegro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Albano Unzueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 78th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Martinez in the 80th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los once leones Ourense.
