Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Tiaguinho Correia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Dagoberto Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. Dagoberto Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiaguinho Correia made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Tiaguinho Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Milagros Fraga could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Tiaguinho Correia however easily saved by the left post. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Dracena in the 43rd minute of play. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sílvio Cavalcante ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Trindade Atlético Club's corner Sílvio Cavalcante fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dagoberto Dracena made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Dagoberto Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trindade Atlético Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Sílvio Cavalcante with Fulgencio Rius as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tiaguinho Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 71st minute of the match. Róbson Couto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of play forced Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Moises Gayoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiaguinho Correia skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Róbson Couto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 0-2 in the 90 minute of play.
