Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Murillo in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Erramun in the 35th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of the match. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 43rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Machine Gun Kelly made a substitution. Aristides Boniel replaced Conrado Erramun. Machine Gun Kelly's Alberto Lizer was substituted for Abdul Jabbar Mansur. Aristides Boniel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Rolando Noboa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Lizer's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Aristides Boniel lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Rolando Noboa. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Udalaitz having to make a save. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Lizer in the 95th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Tenorio came free, but Tadeo Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97thth minute of the game Antonio Tenorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
