Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Felipo Carulla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of the match. Felipo Carulla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After a rather tough play, KS Bozywerek's Damazy Hodas got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Cazalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipo Carulla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
