After having played for 11 minutes, Dieter Denys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dieter Denys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dylan Sarmiento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Panama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dylan Sarmiento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Panama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Berenjenas de Punto Fijo:s goal. Panama:s Marcos Cotilla showed great skill when he stopped Dieter Denys:s penalty. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Juli Alvarez scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 3-0. In the 29th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Berenjenas de Punto Fijo were awarded a corner. Dieter Denys went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Panama's goalie and right to Nico Otamendi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Panama's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thibaut Vandamme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of play. Juli Alvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juli Alvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Isidoro Sarmiento suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Panama made a substitution. Oscar Laguna replaced Isidoro Sarmiento. After a rather tough play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Zdzislaw Rakowski got a free kick in the 44th minute. Matthew Garrido made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Oscar Laguna however managed to control. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Juli Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Juli Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's supporters rose to their feet, but Juli Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juli Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Francis Van Geel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes in the game Matthew Garrido did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Oscar Laguna. 74 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaut Vandamme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 78thth minute of the game Juli Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juli Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Oscar Laguna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Vandamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Berenjenas de Punto Fijo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Francis Van Geel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Laguna in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thibaut Vandamme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Matthew Garrido with Oscar Laguna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 94 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. In the 95th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo had won after a very even match.
