In the 13th match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Chester Bennington in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Alvarenga came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HollywooDogs's Chester Bennington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save HollywooDogs from getting a goal against them. Chester Bennington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 40th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chester Bennington was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Chester Bennington made a huge save. Zé Pedro Mineiro took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. HollywooDogs's Chester Bennington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save HollywooDogs from getting a goal against them. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HollywooDogs were winning 0-1.

HollywooDogs's Celso Senna was substituted for Barros Ramirez. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Chester Bennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of play. Chester Bennington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Chester Bennington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chester Bennington having to interfere. Chester Bennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Mineiro in the 67th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Bittencourt's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 75th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chester Bennington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Rouco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 85th match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Motta to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chester Bennington showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
