Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amund Villensgaard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Solusi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Amund Villensgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Solusi FC defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amund Villensgaard. The Solusi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amund Villensgaard should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Solusi FC's Amund Villensgaard. Amund Villensgaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Solusi FC made a substitution. M. Ichwan Bachtiar replaced Alfonso Reyes. When Oteng Suharyadi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Solusi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oteng Suharyadi couldn't finish the play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when José Carlos Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Solusi FC's Amund Villensgaard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Solusi FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Randolph Magrath hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amund Villensgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cepot Subarkah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amund Villensgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 53rd minute of play. Cepot Subarkah struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solusi FC. José Carlos Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience was convinced that M. Ichwan Bachtiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling M. Ichwan Bachtiar in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 64 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Solusi FC's Zahran Hermansyah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 70th minute Cepot Subarkah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Solusi FC's Amund Villensgaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Solusi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Solusi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rendy Sentosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Amund Villensgaard made a huge save. José Carlos Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
