Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dieter Denys was slow to take the kick. During this time Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's players had a chance to rest. James Bom was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Juli Alvarez got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 8th match minute before Benito Sanz had time to react. Juli Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juli Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Juli Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. After having played for 23 minutes, Juli Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juli Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez. But to his dismay, Juli Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 28 minutes into the game, Dieter Denys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Alfredo Miliano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 36th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. 41 minutes into the game, Juli Alvarez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Juli Alvarez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. 45 minutes into the match, Juli Alvarez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Juli Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juli Alvarez in the 53rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Juli Alvarez came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez. But to his dismay, Juli Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Juli Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Juli Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juli Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Juli Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juli Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Juli Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Juli Alvarez came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Juli Alvarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 11-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 95 minutes of play Costa Rica's Alan Moruga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Miliano in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Berenjenas de Punto Fijo were the better team. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
