Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Stephen got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edvard Carlsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. In the 14thth minute of the game Edvard Carlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edvard Carlsson had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Shen Yi Yuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Edvard Carlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 23 minutes, Gilvan Paes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goblins F.C. and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Ferenc Ferencz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Edvard Carlsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. Augusto Stephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shen Yi Yuan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Augusto Stephen made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Shen Yi Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Stephen made a kick off. Shen Yi Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 51st minute of the match. Goblins F.C.:s Shen Yi Yuan showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. Augusto Stephen struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblins F.C.. After 61 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Stephen who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Augusto Stephen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 63rd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Edvard Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Goblins F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
