Mans's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mans's Su Xiang Lin got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Su Xiang Lin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 2-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Demetrio Di Biagio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mans's Erdinç Yalgın got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Erdinç Yalgın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Côme Collet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mans's Erdinç Yalgın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Erdinç Yalgın made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Mans's goalkeeper Erdinç Yalgın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Côme Collet in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 79th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Xiang Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Mans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Côme Collet to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Côme Collet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Mans were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
