Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 9th minute of the match Birmingham Railers FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ugo Fantozzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Birmingham Railers FC's Ugo Fantozzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betinho de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After 13 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Birmingham Railers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Betinho de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Olaf Kingisepp sent off a good shot on target. Wen Yin Zhen in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Birmingham Railers FC's goalkeeper Betinho de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ugo Fantozzi was slow to take the kick. During this time Birmingham Railers FC's players had a chance to rest. Ugo Fantozzi made a great header on Birmingham Railers FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Birmingham Railers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Hidle didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Önder Aksakal to make the kick off. Wen Yin Zhen charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wen Yin Zhen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Önder Aksakal in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Birmingham Railers FC's Olaf Kingisepp got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wen Yin Zhen in the 74th minute of play. If Olaf Kingisepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wen Yin Zhen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betinho de Azevedo. That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. Birmingham Railers FC's Deivid Ferreira was substituted for Ugo Fantozzi.
