Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Ward Doran scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 1-0. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ward Doran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ward Doran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Hills fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Golden Hills's Egil Östlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 45th minute of play. Ryan Bellamy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Virgil Forbes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Ward Doran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Hills fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 64 minutes in the game Virgil Forbes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Santo Sparks. After 87 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santo Sparks who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Honduras's goalie and right to Geoffrey Vasquez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Honduras's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! In the 98th minute, Ryan Bellamy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Hills fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Golden Hills had won after a very even match.
