Erdinç Yalgın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léonard Beauchamp in the 19th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Su Xiang Lin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 23rd playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play forced Mans's goalkeeper Erdinç Yalgın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Eusébio Cosme got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 34th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdinç Yalgın came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Erdinç Yalgın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mans's Erdinç Yalgın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Mans from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léonard Beauchamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léonard Beauchamp in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Mans got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eusébio Cosme ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Mans's Erdinç Yalgın got control of the ball when Facundo Cadaval tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Yalgın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Erdinç Yalgın successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léonard Beauchamp in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Sanna came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Eduardo Tuzzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mexico booed when Mans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Tuzzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erdinç Yalgın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 88th minute of the match. Arthur Sanna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Alfred Bourlier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 94 played minutes Mans got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Bourlier. Joel Gaona shot from long distance in the 94th minute, but Erdinç Yalgın was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mans to leave the ground with a draw.
