Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cavalerii Viola's He Shu Xun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He Shu Xun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when He Shu Xun got free with Julio Vera in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugurel Puișoru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mugurel Puișoru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Yuri Tasso hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute He Shu Xun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Győrfi in the 33rd minute of the match. Yuri Tasso hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Cavalerii Viola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Tasso to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match, He Shu Xun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 48th minute of the match Cavalerii Viola got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iker Galo ran over to the corner to take the kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from He Shu Xun went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
