When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Leocadio Teja put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Seide. Florentino Fidalgo scored 0-3 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Florentino Fidalgo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Florentino Fidalgo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Fidalgo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Leocadio Teja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leocadio Teja in the 20th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Fidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Fidalgo came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Celino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. After 26 minutes of play, Artigas's Leocadio Teja made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Florentino Fidalgo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Florentino Fidalgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Monteagudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Monteagudo in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leocadio Teja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Florentino Fidalgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

Lia Engraba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Lia Engraba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Artigas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Noel Seide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lia Engraba's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Lia Engraba might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Seide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lia Engraba ran back to his position shaking his head. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lia Engraba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lia Engraba in the 71st minute of play. Sadurni Nadal took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Seide. Noel Seide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Lia Engraba might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Seide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lia Engraba ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Dorval made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Artigas's Eulalio Ygnacio. 86 minutes into the match, Lia Engraba notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artigas's Sadurni Nadal got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Lia Engraba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Lia Engraba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lia Engraba in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Jean Marie Alcius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haiti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Artigas the free kick. In the 96th minute, Jean Marie Alcius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Eulalio Ygnacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artigas's Furtado Codina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 100th minute of play.
