An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Real Madrid de Guatemala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Botello to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Sifon got free with Julio Vera in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon in the 68th minute of play. Nicolás Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Sifon in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Jimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Jimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Jimenez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Sifon in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
