Mugurel Puișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Ahmet İlke Develi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cavalerii Viola's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugurel Puișoru came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Győrfi in the 30th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Győrfi's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mugurel Puișoru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell He Shu Xun to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers He Shu Xun in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. A hard shot 60 in the game by Alberto Tafalla from a close distance when the talented Mugurel Puișoru managed to make a qualified save. Cavalerii Viola's players were relieved. Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Cavalerii Viola from getting a goal against them. Mugurel Puișoru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 64 minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Cavalerii Viola from getting a goal against them. Mexico played a much better game than Cavalerii Viola and deserved their victory. The Cavalerii Viola players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
