Leonard Lamczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. The La Acade fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when La Acade's Osvaldo Cantero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Monty Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 22nd minute of play. Blas Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blas Aritza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Lamczyk got free with Marco Day in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 34th minute of play. Kip William's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Aritza having to interfere. The supporters of La Acade booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Teófilo Amaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Day showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Blas Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 42nd minute of the match. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 43rd minute. After 44 minutes La Acade's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Aritza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, La Acade's Osvaldo Cantero got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, La Acade's goalkeeper Blas Aritza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip William in the 57th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Cassius Byrne got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to La Acade getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Stelian Avram hit a great ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Lamczyk in the 63rd minute of play. Blas Aritza had great luck who in the 67thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cassius Byrne from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khalid Parry in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Aritza saved La Acade from getting behind. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Cantero went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sam Campbell took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Aritza. Blas Aritza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 95th minute, Leonard Lamczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Acade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The La Acade support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
