After some careless play in the Berenjenas de Punto Fijo defense, Alfonso de la Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barros Oliver. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barros Oliver should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great ball. Julio Chicote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Berenjenas de Punto Fijo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Miguel Gibaja hit a great ball. Olo Berlanga's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olo Berlanga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Olo Berlanga got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ixidor Herquinigo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Barros Oliver acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mario Fernandino. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaiet Ambrosio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Bolivia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ramond Mascareñas took the corner. In the 56th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barros Oliver was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Guillen Piñera got a free kick in the 60th minute. Julio Chicote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Barros Oliver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Barros Oliver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 63rd minute of play. If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Fontirroig ran back to his position shaking his head. Barros Oliver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Bolivia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
