Amadeu Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Knipan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Bern didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Pombal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Engström in the 17th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Amadeu Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rutger Boman charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rutger Boman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Rutger Boman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Hugo Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magnus Gallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Knipan IF's Edmund Moberg was substituted for Edmund Söderquist. Knipan IF's Gunnar Dalberg was substituted for Rutger Boman.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Nordin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. In the 64th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Joshua Secada got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Knipan IF's Gunnar Dalberg got a free kick in the 71st minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Knipan IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Amadeu Pombal made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Patricio Costa sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Costa was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Knipan IF were the better team. Knipan IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
