Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mauro Boselli started the match with the kick off. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Vellito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Shuspendemo's Brooks Willison got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Boselli came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Milagros Fraga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Vellito. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Vellito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes Shuspendemo got a freekick which was hit by Brooks Willison. Ismael Vellito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Ismael Vellito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. 43 minutes into the game, Emilio Schiacciacasse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shuspendemo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. The supporters of Peru booed when Shuspendemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Schiacciacasse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Vellito was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's Mauro Boselli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Rivas was slow to take the kick. During this time Shuspendemo's players had a chance to rest. Mauro Boselli made a great header on Shuspendemo's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. Ismael Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 59th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooks Willison in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Réda Kolb replaced Mauro Boselli. Shuspendemo's Amado Laurin was substituted for Enrique Silban. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Réda Kolb in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Vellito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Vellito having to interfere. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ismael Vellito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. When Peru's Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shuspendemo's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Rafael Gallo sped through Shuspendemo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Vellito. Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 96th minute of play. Peru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
