Elite™- FC Galácticos were furious when Walmyr Cosme was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elite™- FC Galácticos! Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Inácio Cosme, made in the 41st minute of the game.

Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerônimo da Cunha. Jerônimo da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Elite™- FC Galácticos from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha did a great save. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dans Ludēns, made in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th minute of the game, Milagros Fraga landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maël Zapata during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Maël Zapata hit a great ball. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Cosme Dighero threw the ball into play from the sideline. A sloppy throw-in by Dans Ludēns in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 73rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Zabrzeski in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Dans Ludēns got a free kick in the 75th minute. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo da Cunha having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Fri Spel came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Zabrzeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dans Ludēns hit a great ball. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Dans Ludēns got a free kick in the 89th minute. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 95 minutes into the match, Fabian Zabrzeski notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
