Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Golden Hills booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egil Östlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Escribano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Bellamy came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 15th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Uruguay's Egil Östlund threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Escribano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Doran in the 24th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Golden Hills's Ward Doran to a score. 1-1 in the 26th minute. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Egil Östlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. When Ward Doran came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Golden Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ward Doran couldn't finish the play. After having played for 32 minutes, Geoffrey Vasquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geoffrey Vasquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ward Doran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ryan Bellamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Ward Doran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Ward Doran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ward Doran made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Egil Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egil Östlund. Egil Östlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 77th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Geoffrey Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Geoffrey Vasquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geoffrey Vasquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Ward Doran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-2. Bryan Clifford hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egil Östlund. Egil Östlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Egil Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 90th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Uruguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
