To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Mehmet Kerem in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42 minutes . SC Manhattan .'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Washington Netto charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Washington Netto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes . The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chico Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Valadares in the 58th minute of the match. Mehmet Kerem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. .
