Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Kong Gang Zhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kong Gang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kong Gang Zhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Batista came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Marcus Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. After 84 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kong Gang Zhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. Felipe Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Marcos Cotilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcus Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Felipe Lara made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cremonese FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
