Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Gunvald Glarkrog made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Andres Oper made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunvald Glarkrog came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Oper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunvald Glarkrog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Oper in the 33rd minute of play. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunvald Glarkrog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Gunvald Glarkrog successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gunvald Glarkrog had great luck who in the 40thth minute grab hold of the ball when Joel Gaona from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After having played for 42 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gunvald Glarkrog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 51st minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunvald Glarkrog was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sivart Djursgård charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sivart Djursgård the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Strib Galacticos IF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sivart Djursgård hit a great ball. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Gunvald Glarkrog didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mexico's Joel Gaona shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Gunvald Glarkrog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sivart Djursgård didn't get a good kick on the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Reinhard Duse was substituted for Davide Ubriaco. After 74 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Sivart Djursgård. Valdemar Ginhart made a great header on Strib Galacticos IF's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. After 82 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. After having played for 91 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sivart Djursgård hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunvald Glarkrog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
