The audience thought a goal was coming when Venancio Kepa got free with Marco Day in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute Mauro Boselli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Vellito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 29th minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Ismael Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ismael Vellito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 32nd minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Ismael Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, USA's Cassius Byrne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ismael Vellito. Ismael Vellito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Ismael Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 minutes Shuspendemo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Monty Rogers who took care of the corner kick. Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 96th minute of play.
