Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Godoi got the match started through his kick off. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Paulo Godoi put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Paulo Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paulo Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Godoi couldn't finish the play. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 30th minute of play. Palestra do Interior's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hudson Sergipano in the 31st minute. After 37 minutes Palestra do Interior's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 44thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute Hudson Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Varela made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. After 72 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Boyisana Mnisi. Palestra do Interior's Percival Cruz was substituted for 吴洲坚. Palestra do Interior's Niclas Danielsson was substituted for Hudson Sergipano. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Boyisana Mnisi hit a great ball. Luz Tejedor's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Allan Varela - 1-3 was put on the score board in the 75th minute. Peru's Moises Gayoso suffered a sore thigh after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jorginho Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave Jorginho Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. Julian Murillo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 83rd minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Allan Varela in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
