Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Irinel Tatomir started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Ghimiș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 1-0. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Ole-Petter Korsvik made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nektarios Varveris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucrețiu Ghimiș showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Irinel Tatomir capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Irinel Tatomir really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș in the 19th minute of play. Sandu Condeescu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Irinel Tatomir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 31st minute Irinel Tatomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lucrețiu Ghimiș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Lucrețiu Ghimiș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugen Mihălțan took the corner. The corner ended in Lucrețiu Ghimiș almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lucrețiu Ghimiș could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Irinel Tatomir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 53rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Eugen Mihălțan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jorge Sainz got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Camilo Franco. The supporters of Uruguay booed when ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Condeescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Tatomir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Franco got free with Nektarios Varveris in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Lucrețiu Ghimiș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Ghimiș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nektarios Varveris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Irinel Tatomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 had won after a very even match.
