Capivariano F.C.'s attentive Júlio Machado managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Luis Rubio made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mateo Leguizamo. 30 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jorge Magrina hit a great ball. Jorge Magrina made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abram Luque however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 43rd minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abram Luque went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Capivariano F.C.'s Marcinho Nóbrega quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Rubio, made in the 87th minute of the game. With a little luck, Capivariano F.C.'s Leonardo Moreira got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Capivariano F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Salvador's performance. The match ended with a win for El Salvador.
