Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. Geoffrey Vasquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Geoffrey Vasquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoffrey Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Geoffrey Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Egil Östlund made a huge save. In the 27th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Golden Hills's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Egil Östlund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Egil Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Golden Hills's Ward Doran made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 played minutes Golden Hills got a freekick which was hit by Orville Hough. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Egil Östlund made a huge save. 39 minutes into the game, Golden Hills's Ryan Bellamy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to Golden Hills getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ward Doran hit a great ball. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Egil Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Egil Östlund in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Golden Hills were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ward Doran made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 52nd minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Golden Hills's Geoffrey Vasquez got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Hills's Egil Östlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 60th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 66th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geoffrey Vasquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. When Ward Doran came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Golden Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ward Doran couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Vasquez in the 77th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Golden Hills booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ward Doran. In the 89th minute, Golden Hills's Ward Doran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Ward Doran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 95th minute of the match. The Uruguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Golden Hills's performance. The match ended with a win for Golden Hills.
