Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Capivariano F.C.'s Waldemar Batista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Primitivo Escribano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Moreira having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Capivariano F.C.'s zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Moreira came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Hector Covarrubias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Moreira. The goal made the score 1-0. Arthur Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Leonardo Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 14th minute. Capivariano F.C.'s Leonardo Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Capivariano F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Moreira was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 21st minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Covarrubias in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Moreira saved Capivariano F.C. from getting behind. 56 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 61 minutes, Marcinho Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivariano F.C. and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Marcinho Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Leonardo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Paraguay fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Paraguay's Jaime Pardo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 71 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Leonardo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 81st minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leonardo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Moreira. Capivariano F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Paraguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
