CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Arí Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arí Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Melquiades Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 17th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Amor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero da Costa in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Ardwyad Vulcan. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of play. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 31st minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alberto Tafalla advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-1 in the 32nd minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Melquiades Amor made a huge save. With a little luck, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Melquiades Amor, making the score, 4-1. Alberto Tafalla scored 5-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Amor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Amor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Amor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arí Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Valle. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Zorita succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Joel Gaona sped through CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Amor. In the 71st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Melquiades Amor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 76th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero da Costa in the 78th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cícero da Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 7-2 in the 80 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 83rd minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Amor. Melquiades Amor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. Mexico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
