Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes F.C Alex Bucuresti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Raşit Özdilek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, F.C Alex Bucuresti's Ştefan Staicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th play minute Ştefan Staicu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ştefan Staicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ştefan Staicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raşit Özdilek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raşit Özdilek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced F.C Alex Bucuresti's goalkeeper Raşit Özdilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. F.C Alex Bucuresti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Raşit Özdilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Alex Bucuresti's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raşit Özdilek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raşit Özdilek was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raşit Özdilek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raşit Özdilek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calistrat Babeș to make the kick off. Raşit Özdilek made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Claudiu Braru's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudiu Braru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, F.C Alex Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Braru to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raşit Özdilek. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. Raşit Özdilek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play forced F.C Alex Bucuresti's goalkeeper Raşit Özdilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, F.C Alex Bucuresti's Raşit Özdilek got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. F.C Alex Bucuresti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raşit Özdilek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Babeș in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, F.C Alex Bucuresti's goalkeeper Raşit Özdilek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Staicu in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, F.C Alex Bucuresti's goalkeeper Raşit Özdilek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After a rather tough play, F.C Alex Bucuresti's Claudiu Braru got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raşit Özdilek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raşit Özdilek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Raşit Özdilek made a huge save. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
