Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Elite™- FC Galácticos from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Zachary Kosmatka put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Heitor Paim Belluci. Heitor Paim Belluci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atacan Rahim's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Paim Macedo in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Paim Macedo got free with Jerônimo da Cunha in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inácio Cosme hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Atacan Rahim scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heitor Paim Belluci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brazil's Heitor Paim Belluci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atacan Rahim in the 35th minute of play. Heitor Paim Belluci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atacan Rahim in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Alexandre Paz Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Diogo Paim Macedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerônimo da Cunha, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Heitor Paim Belluci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atacan Rahim in the 51st minute of the match. Jerônimo da Cunha came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil's Diogo Paim Macedo. But to his dismay, Diogo Paim Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Paim Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachary Kosmatka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Heitor Paim Belluci made a huge save. Alexandre Paz Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo da Cunha having to interfere. Brazil's Murilo Bueno Lobo was substituted for Diogo Paim Macedo. Jerônimo da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Pedroso Kimura, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Brazil's attentive Renato Belluci Rosa managed to snatch the ball when Matheus Silva made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game.
