The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Canada's Carter George got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atacan Rahim might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jax Williamson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atacan Rahim ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jax Williamson threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Atacan Rahim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atacan Rahim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 24th minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jax Williamson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Atacan Rahim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Jan Dixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerônimo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Mccarthy in the 42nd minute of the match. Eric Hill hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atacan Rahim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Carter George could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jerônimo da Cunha made a huge save. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. After a rather tough play, Canada's Eric Hill got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Maël Zapata sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jax Williamson skillfully saved the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match, Richard Mccarthy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64th minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atacan Rahim in the 69th minute of play. Elite™- FC Galácticos made a substitution. Matheus Silva replaced Nikos Kladogennis. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. Elite™- FC Galácticos made a substitution. If Jan Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Richard Mccarthy fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jerônimo da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jan Dixon sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Gino Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jax Williamson. Canada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gino Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Dixon got free with Jerônimo da Cunha in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 92 minutes, Gino Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elite™- FC Galácticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Dixon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerônimo da Cunha having to make a save.
