Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eder Mangas, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Gasso in the 8th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Gasso in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Raúl Gasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Armal F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Raúl Gasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raúl Gasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Raúl Gasso struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Armal F.C.. In the 35th play minute Lautaro Puig came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dionisio Figueres. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Dionisio Figueres in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raúl Gasso's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Armal F.C. the free kick. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Gasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Eder Mangas took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th minute of the match, Raúl Gasso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Eder Mangas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Real Armal F.C. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Figueres was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Gasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Figueres came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer. But to his dismay, Aaron Alcocer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 84 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Gasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With an all-out effort, Real Armal F.C.'s Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raúl Gasso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
