Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Mugurel Puișoru however easily saved by the left post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet İlke Develi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Mugurel Puișoru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Győrfi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugurel Puișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when He Shu Xun came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Pascaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Mugurel Puișoru made a huge save. In the 34th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Puișoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mugurel Puișoru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 35 minutes into the match, Cavalerii Viola's goalkeeper Mugurel Puișoru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Cavalerii Viola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cavalerii Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. In the 46th minute, Yuri Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugurel Puișoru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Shu Xun in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when He Shu Xun made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when He Shu Xun came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Pascaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. He Shu Xun charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed He Shu Xun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Cavalerii Viola got a freekick which was hit by He Shu Xun. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Puișoru having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers He Shu Xun in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavalerii Viola the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. He Shu Xun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Galo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Cavalerii Viola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Galo to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Puișoru having to interfere. He Shu Xun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but He Shu Xun slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 74th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Puișoru having to interfere. Victor Pascaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Győrfi in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Puișoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cavalerii Viola's Ive Kindermans got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mugurel Puișoru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cavalerii Viola to win.
