In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Urquiza's goalkeeper Aleksander Marciewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benedicto Naelio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Inter de Urquiza's Aleksander Marciewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 27th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Argentina's Benedicto Naelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksander Marciewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice moves Paolo-César Maldini could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Aleksander Marciewicz however easily saved by the left post. Argentina's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrich Haugbølle in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 62nd minute of play forced Inter de Urquiza's goalkeeper Aleksander Marciewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Naelio got free with Aleksander Marciewicz in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 minutes of play, Argentina's Benedicto Naelio made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Amado Arotza sped through Inter de Urquiza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aleksander Marciewicz. Argentina's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrich Haugbølle in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Arotza in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Marciewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aleksander Marciewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Arotza in the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Inter de Urquiza's Aleksander Marciewicz got control of the ball when Samuel Jobo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter de Urquiza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Jobo was slow to take the kick. During this time Argentina's players had a chance to rest. Amado Arotza made a great header on Argentina's corner, it was just that Inter de Urquiza's Aleksander Marciewicz managed to reach the ball for a save. The Inter de Urquiza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Argentina were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
