The throw-in from Eder Mangas in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Alan Campos. Real Armal F.C.'s Eder Mangas got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Figueres in the 26th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dionisio Figueres came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Real Armal F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Figueres couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes into the match, Dionisio Figueres notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Real Armal F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Figueres to strike the kick off in the second half. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Real Armal F.C.'s Cordairo Garay got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Nereo santillana fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Armal F.C.'s protests and gave Nereo santillana a yellow card for diving instead. Paraguay's Fernando Amengual was substituted for Alan Campos. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Real Armal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo santillana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Máximo Maestro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 89th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Figueres, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Nereo santillana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Hector Covarrubias charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Covarrubias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Nereo santillana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Armal F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Paraguay's much stronger midfield.
