Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Irinel Tatomir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Bianco Cappucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irinel Tatomir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Nektarios Varveris in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Ghimiș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucrețiu Ghimiș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Ghimiș in the 16th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Francisco Seco sped through ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nektarios Varveris. When Irinel Tatomir came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Tatomir couldn't finish the play. Irinel Tatomir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. After 27 minutes of play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Basarab Vărzaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Irinel Tatomir kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 made a substitution. Özalp Erdönmez replaced Ole-Petter Korsvik. A collision led to ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Irinel Tatomir hit a great ball. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nektarios Varveris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugen Mihălțan in the 49th minute.

The wind increased when Irinel Tatomir made the kick off in the second half. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Basarab Vărzaru quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Sainz, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gică Popescu, made in the 57th minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Ghimiș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 1-4. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Irinel Tatomir got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 72nd minute of play forced ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalkeeper Nektarios Varveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nektarios Varveris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute Irinel Tatomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Ghimiș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 82 minutes, Basarab Vărzaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basarab Vărzaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Tatomir came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso had great luck who in the 91stth minute grab hold of the ball when Irinel Tatomir from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Irinel Tatomir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-6 after 93 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
