When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Irinel Tatomir put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. In the 20th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 23rd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 28th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Tatomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 36th minute of the game Ivan Navarro made a throw-in which Sebastian Villa played forward. In the 40th minute, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuel Ocampo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Honduras protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuel Ocampo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 39 minutes into the game, one of Honduras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eugen Mihălțan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Irinel Tatomir struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Villa made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 51st minute. Lucrețiu Ghimiș came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lautaro Navarro could save by the left post. Irinel Tatomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Lucrețiu Ghimiș struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007. In the 65th minute of the game Christian Sancho made a throw-in which Sebastian Villa played forward. In the 66th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nektarios Varveris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucrețiu Ghimiș received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucrețiu Ghimiș slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 68th minute. The throw-in from Ivan Navarro in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Eugen Mihălțan. After having played for 74 minutes, Irinel Tatomir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irinel Tatomir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Irinel Tatomir took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Irinel Tatomir scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 87th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Irinel Tatomir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 played a much better game than Honduras and deserved their victory. The Honduras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
