Chile's Pedro Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ioseba Llorente, made in the 17th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rafael Fix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 25 minutes, Cornelio Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Cesaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Cornelio Cesaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Cornelio Cesaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Pan Queso y Leberbush FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Cordarrol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Maropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimitris Maropoulos in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Pan Queso y Leberbush FC got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Palleschi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Pan Queso y Leberbush FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jonathan Cordarrol hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Pan Queso y Leberbush FC got a freekick which was hit by Ioseba Llorente. Chile's Orlando Casaus got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Francisco Carballar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pan Queso y Leberbush FC the free kick. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Alex Palleschi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago Pliego came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pan Queso y Leberbush FC reached it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitris Maropoulos to make the kick off. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Maropoulos's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Fix having to interfere. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Fix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Dimitris Maropoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pan Queso y Leberbush FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 78th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goalkeeper Rafael Fix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Fix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 81st minute. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Cesaro in the 85th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Fontirroig charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Fontirroig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pan Queso y Leberbush FC booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Mariano Lacasa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rafael Fix made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target.
