Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 19th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Rigoberto Mina put in a rough tackle. Marshall Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 27th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshall Medina in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Medina in the 36th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marshall Medina went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Chad Tuttle got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Marshall Medina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL LOBO DE MIAMI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Clayton Haney missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 65 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jonathan Ferrant right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Medina in the 68th minute of the match. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marshall Medina in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when EL LOBO DE MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordie Mosquera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clayton Haney hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Marshall Medina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marshall Medina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 79th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Clayton Haney quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Secada, made in the 81st minute of the game. In the 86th minute Marshall Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshall Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
