Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Allard Borgman in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play forced F.C Petru B.U.C's goalkeeper Allard Borgman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute F.C Petru B.U.C were awarded a corner. Olimpiu Zdrelea went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Allard Borgman firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 73 minutes of play, F.C Petru B.U.C's Emy Marioara made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the F.C Petru B.U.C defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allard Borgman. The F.C Petru B.U.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allard Borgman should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. After having played for 88 minutes, Cristi Sabău managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C Petru B.U.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristi Sabău was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Allard Borgman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valer Baltian during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C Petru B.U.C's Valer Baltian got a free kick in the 96th minute.
