Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diego Furlan kicked off to start the match. Edmundo Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tupirama booed when RWD Molenbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes, Tupirama's Wilson do Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cacá Munhoz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tupirama reached it. Dorival Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Furlan in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Francisco Perez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorival Quadros. The goal made the score 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Paulo Bastos during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Paulo Bastos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dorival Quadros made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Diego Furlan sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dorival Quadros made a huge save. Edmundo Pires took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Quadros. Dorival Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The Tupirama fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Tupirama's Marcos Cavalcante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dorival Quadros was a little too slow when Diego Furlan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Cavalcante to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Perez in the 54th minute of play forced Tupirama's goalkeeper Dorival Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Tupirama got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Sarmento. 57 minutes into the match, Tupirama's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Furlan came free, but Dorival Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Diego Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorival Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Furlan in the 65th minute of play. Tupirama's Dorival Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Furlan in the 67th minute of play. RWD Molenbeek's Francisco Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorival Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, RWD Molenbeek's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcos Cavalcante fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 79th minute, Diego Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RWD Molenbeek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Dorival Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorival Quadros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Perez went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute Diego Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tupirama booed when RWD Molenbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
