Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Thanos Kopitsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Eduardov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, OLYMPIOS ZEUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odysseas Vlassopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Tomas Berganza suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Sokratis Papafanakis fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OLYMPIOS ZEUS's protests and gave Sokratis Papafanakis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Sokratis Papafanakis got a free kick in the 20th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Eduardov in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Odysseas Vlassopoulos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the match, OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Adolf Putin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Eduardov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Luke Tovar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 32 minute of the game. Estefania Rasgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanos Kopitsis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Panama's Thanos Kopitsis threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanos Kopitsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estefania Rasgado in the 39th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Thanos Kopitsis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odysseas Vlassopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Estefania Rasgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thanos Kopitsis was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Panama were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after OLYMPIOS ZEUS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of OLYMPIOS ZEUS's goalie and right to Isidoro Sarmiento. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Thanos Kopitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 59th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Eduardov in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Eduardov in the 60th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanos Kopitsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estefania Rasgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thanos Kopitsis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Estefania Rasgado went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Estefania Rasgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Baldomiro Llorenc was substituted for Adolf Putin. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomiro Llorenc in the 83rd minute. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanos Kopitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estefania Rasgado in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Estefania Rasgado in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thanos Kopitsis saved OLYMPIOS ZEUS from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 99th minute of play forced OLYMPIOS ZEUS's goalkeeper Thanos Kopitsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
